FiiO’s all-new QX13 is a flagship pocket DAC (digital-to-analog converter), prioritising audio quality while delivering full size hi-fi performance and versatile adaptability as high-res music streaming is about to become completely mainstream across all services.

The QX13 marks 18 years of FiiO’s audio expertise and modern technology and custom innovations means what was once the sole preserve of bulky desktop hi-fi can now be accessed from a pocket sized device. Add any audio source with USB-C and enjoy studio grade sound and breath new life into your wired headphones.

The QX13 can fully decode MQA music and is compatible with studio master file formats such as DSD512 and 768Hz / 32 Bit tracks.

A 3.5mm and balanced 4.4mm headphone socket ensures wide compatability with all headphones.

Fully carbon fiber body, extra large colour display

The QX13 is made with 21 layers of carbon fiber for a lightweight yet durable build alongside an extra large 1.99-inch hardened IPS display.

Desktop-grade DAC

The QX13 introduces the flagship ESS SABRE PRO ES9027PRO - recommended for use in full size hi-fi systems but FiiO has achieved a micro DAC/AMP design, designed to make the most of your headphones and IEMs. The chip features a fully differential audio architecture design with 8 channels set up in parallel, and is paired with a pair of ultra-low-noise ES9312 regulators for precise output matching on each audio channel. Audio signals are accurately restored thanks to optimised power efficiency and effectiveness in reducing clock jitter. Ideal partners would include the FiiO FT7 or FiiO FX17 IEMs.

Powerful and stable output with high efficiency

The QX13 uses four wafer-level precision-integrated INA1620 chips, with a specially designed internal layout to significantly reduce crosstalk which means no interference between channels. Two low-noise, low-distortion OPA1692 chips are employed to ensure excellent dynamics under various load conditions.

The custom Desktop Mode also allows extra power to be intelligently drawn from powered USB devices such as laptops and the FiiO Control app (iOS, Android) allows 10 band PEQ adjustments and firmware updates.

All-new magnetic case and extra battery pack

The QX13 arrives with an (optional) magnetic leather case, compatible with the custom FiiO power 'estick' pack for lightweight portability with powerhouse performance in Desktop Mode. Choose the magnetic leather case to combine both devices in one unit.

The QX13 is available now and will make a European debut at CanJam London on Saturday July 19th. Pricing is set at £219, $219, €239.
