Audiomovers releases Binaural Renderer for Apple Music application

Audiomovers today announces the release of the new macOS application version of their plugin Binaural Renderer for Apple Music which allows engineers to monitor their Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 session audio exactly as it will sound on Apple Music.

Again responding to the demands of mixing and mastering engineers working with immersive audio, Audiomovers is giving anyone the ability to hear how their immersive audio sessions will sound on Apple Music.

The new standalone application version allows users to use any audio device as its input for ease of routing. It features two additional switchable auxiliary inputs for pass thru audio that could be used as reference inputs for other binaural or stereo sources such as Dolby binaural render or Apple Music spatial out.

The multichannel ‘pass thru’ option allows users to integrate the Binaural Renderer application between the Dolby Renderer and a studio speaker setup with ease. In addition, a separate Spatial Render output device and channel selection enables engineers to use any headphones as an output.

The Binaural Renderer for Apple Music app comes supplied with a 16-channel virtual driver that acts as a link between Dolby Renderer and Binaural Renderer for Apple Music - simplifying the engineer’s workflow in a single system scenario.

GRAMMY®-nominated producer and mix engineer, Yaron Fuchs, commented: “I’m using Binaural Renderer every day for my Atmos mix sessions. It has solved a major problem, which is hearing exactly how my mixes will translate on headphones in Apple spatial, Dolby binaural as well as comparing them to the stereo mix.

“It’s a game changer for me, especially now that it’s available as a standalone application, which makes for easier routing and doing quick comparisons.”

The Binaural Renderer for Apple Music is available online at audiomovers.com for $79.99, with one license required to use both the plugin and macOs App.

Audiomovers provides access to Apple's Spatial Audio using the same technology that is used on Apple devices. We worked together with Apple to ensure its accuracy.

Binaural Renderer for Apple Music is solely a product of Audiomovers, and not created or endorsed by Apple Inc.
