Ferrum Audio presents a comprehensive portfolio of high end audio DACS and headphone amps designed to redefine what is possible at their respective price points. Built on proprietary engineering, upgradeability and a shared design language, the Ferrum family includes WANDLA, WANDLA HP, OOR, ERCO Gen 2 and the HYPSOS hybrid power system, including the new HYPSOS Dual Output.
Forged from decades of experience in designing and manufacturing audio electronics, Ferrum’s approach is grounded in a single ambition: to create game changing products that deliver uncompromising musicality without unnecessary complexity. Each component is conceived not as a standalone device, but as part of a scalable hi-fi ecosystem.
WANDLA - The converter
At the centre of the range stands WANDLA, described as “The Converter”. Designed as a statement for the current and next generation of music lovers, WANDLA represents Ferrum’s vision of tomorrow’s standard in digital to analogue conversion.
WANDLA is built around the ESS Sabre ES9038PRO DAC chip and a proprietary current to voltage converter stage. Ferrum’s optimised ARM-based digital audio system module, known as SERCE, shortens the signal path and incorporates MQA decoding and rendering alongside digital filter selection. Dynamic Digital Filtering allows users to select between one ESS filter and four HQ Player filters created specifically for Ferrum, enabling tailored sonic performance.
Fully balanced from input to output, WANDLA employs a proprietary IC line amplifier, newly developed high resolution touch screen interface and analogue volume control with bypass option. It is engineered for transparency, dynamics and fatigue free listening across formats ranging from CD and streaming to super high resolution PCM and DSD.
WANDLA is designed to pair seamlessly with the HYPSOS hybrid power system via the proprietary Ferrum Power Link, using 4T sensing to maximise performance.

WANDLA HP - The all-in-one headphone amp
Positioned between ERCO and the WANDLA plus OOR flagship combination, WANDLA HP integrates a powerful, fully balanced composite IC headphone amplifier into the WANDLA platform.
Retaining all of WANDLA’s DAC architecture and digital functionality, WANDLA HP adds up to 3.5 W into 50 ohms balanced output, delivering authority, dynamic range and precision close to Ferrum’s flagship OOR headphone amplifier. It is aimed at listeners seeking a single chassis solution without compromising performance.
Like all Ferrum electronics, WANDLA HP is upgradeable with HYPSOS for enhanced transparency and control.

OOR – The award winning headphone amplifier
OOR is Ferrum’s fully balanced, proprietary discrete power amplifier and the recipient of an EISA award for Best Headphone Amplifier.
Designed from the ground up, OOR delivers ultra low distortion, expansive dynamics and exceptional control. Its signal path remains truly balanced when using XLR inputs and becomes balanced when using RCA inputs. Superior output transistor steering ensures they never turn off, reducing distortion and enhancing transient authority. OOR is engineered to reach its full potential when paired with HYPSOS via the Ferrum Power Link.

ERCO Gen 2
ERCO Gen 2 brings Ferrum’s entry level DAC closer to WANDLA performance. Featuring a new bootloader, enhanced DSP engine and ESS Sabre ES9028PRO DAC chip, ERCO Gen 2 now supports PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512.
It incorporates Ferrum’s preferred HQ digital filter and improved I/V converter stage. With balanced 4.4 mm and unbalanced 6.35 mm headphone outputs, balanced XLR and RCA line outputs, analogue volume control with bypass and MQA decoding and rendering, ERCO Gen 2 is designed for high end personal audio and desktop systems. Existing ERCO owners can upgrade to Gen 2 specification.

HYPSOS – perfect power
HYPSOS is Ferrum’s hybrid power system, combining linear and switching topologies to deliver low ripple and noise alongside fast transient response and high efficiency. It has received an EISA award for Best Product of the Year.
With a continuous output voltage range of 5–30 V, Sweet Spot Tuning for fine voltage adjustment and 4T Sensing Design to ensure precise voltage at the load, HYPSOS can power numerous compatible devices. Advanced automation includes trigger in and out and compatibility with Apple TV remote.

HYPSOS Dual Output
HYPSOS Dual Output extends the concept by offering two power outputs sharing the same voltage. With up to 60 W and 6 A available across both outputs, it allows simultaneous powering of two compatible devices such as OOR and WANDLA, reducing system complexity and enhancing upgradeability.
