FiiO reveals EH11 headphones and upgrades the award-winning JM21 music player

FiiO continues to blur the boundaries between classic design and modern audio engineering with the introduction of the FiiO EH11 Retro Bluetooth Mini Headphones, a bold statement piece that delivers uncompromising sound in a compact, fashion-forward form.

At first glance, the EH11’s compact wooden earcups immediately set it apart. Inspired by iconic 1980s mini on-ear headphones, the design features transparent elements that reveal internal components, paired with tactile physical knobs that double as intuitive controls. Rotate to adjust volume or skip tracks, an experience that is influenced by vintage hi-fi gear while remaining portable. Weighing just 92 grams, the EH11 is ideal for extended listening,

A 40mm long-throw dynamic driver with a high-damping composite diaphragm lowers the resonant frequency to 60Hz, enabling bass extension down to 17Hz. The result is controlled, energetic low frequencies, sharp transient response and a layered presentation.

The EH11 features a semi-open acoustic design. Ventilation ports and damping filters reduce the pressure and closed-in sensation typical of on-ear headphones, while still controlling airflow to minimise sound leakage. Vocals sound more natural, mid and high frequencies are more open and the overall soundstage feels wider and more transparent.

The EH11 supports LDAC high-resolution Bluetooth, transmitting audio at up to 990 kbps for near-lossless sound quality when paired with compatible devices like the new FiiO JM21 64GB, below. A built-in mic allows easy calls at home or on the go.

The EH11 battery offers 30 hours of playback on a single charge with a full recharge taking approximately 1.5 hours. Integration with the FiiO Control App unlocks genre-specific sound profiles, custom EQ, low-latency gaming sound modes and firmware updates. Replaceable ear pads with two colour sets are included, ensuring long-term comfort, easy maintenance and visual customisation.

FiiO reveal upgraded JM21 64GB

Alongside the EH11, FiiO also reveals the upgraded JM21 portable music player, designed to complement modern headphones and high-resolution audio libraries. The JM21 is now offered in a 64GB version, with significant hardware improvements. The 64GB model (previously 32GB) now features a 3100mAh battery (increased from 2400mAh) , delivering up to 16 hours of single-ended playback or 12.5 hours via the balanced output.
