Kanto Audio REN: High Performance 100W Active Speakers with HDMI ARC

Canadian speaker manufacturers, Kanto Audio expand their existing line-up — which includes the award winning TUK, YU6, ORAand recently launched ORA 4 — with the new 100W REN Active Speakers. 

REN will be available in 5 different colour finishes from launch:

REN features an HDMI ARC connection with CEC – the first time this has been used on a Kanto Audio speaker – enabling a seamless, high-quality connection to televisions, delivering an enhanced viewing experience. REN uses DSP technology to offer two custom sound modes: Vocal Boost clarifies dialogue, whilst Night Mode tames loud sound effects for comfortable late-night viewing.

REN wakes up and can be controlled with your TV remote. In addition, volume and source selection can conveniently be adjusted with supplied IR remote control.

Alongside the HDMI ARC input, the innovative Kanto Audio REN Speaker features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and USB-C and Optical inputs supporting audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. The USB Type-C port allows users to connect a host of audio sources to REN Active Speakers including iPhone 15, Android devices, Digital Audio Players, PC, Mac, and more.

REN Active Speakers also feature both RCA Line-in and 3.5mm Mini Jack inputs, enabling connection to traditional analogue audio sources, such as tape decks, and record players with a built-in phono-stage. In addition, the Kanto Audio REN offers a dedicated Sub-out with a selectable crossover, ensuring easy integration with a powered subwoofer — such as the Kanto Audio SUB8.

KANTO REN SPECS

HDMI ARC Input
​REN is our first speaker with an HDMI input. Designed to replace a soundbar, it provides true two-channel stereo separation that a soundbar simply cannot achieve. Various Vocal Modes. REN features multi-listening modes that allow you to adjust the sound you hear. Night mode and vocal boost help create a unique listening experience for your setup.

Input Options
​There are six inputs to cover your digital and analog needs – HDMI ARC with CEC for seamless TV integration, USB-C to get the best sound from your PC or Mac, Bluetooth® 5.3, RCA, optical and 3.5mm mini jack.

Bass Management ​
​When a subwoofer is connected, all frequencies below 80hz are automatically sent to the sub- woofer. This feature can be disabled through the remote.

Remote Control
​REN’s remote control can swap left and right channels, disable auto-power up and down, dim ​ the LED control light, mute the sub, and adjust the bass and treble.

Colour Options ​
​REN will be launching in 5 colours – Matte Black, Matte White, Matte Grey, Matte Orange and Matte Blue
