Kanto Audio reveal Tuk Grand and redesigned speaker line up

Kanto Audio today unveils a redesigned generation of its speaker lineup, led by the introduction of the all-new Tuk Grand. Alongside this new flagship model, Kanto introduces updated versions of its most popular speakers - Yu4, Yu6, and Tuk - marking a significant step forward in both acoustic performance and industrial design.
First launched in 2014, the Yu series helped define Kanto’s approach to accessible, high-quality audio. Tuk followed in 2019, pushing performance further into the hi-fi category.
Introducing Tuk Grand: A New Flagship
Tuk Grand represents the most ambitious speaker Kanto has created to date.
Designed to deliver greater scale and presence, Tuk Grand builds on the foundation of the original Tuk with a larger cabinet, increased internal volume, and refined driver integration. The result is a more expansive soundstage, improved low-frequency extension, and a more immersive listening experience overall. The AMT tweeter in the Tuk series has been enhanced across both new Tuk models via careful design and retains detail but offers a truly balanced sound.
The updated cabinet architecture introduces sharper geometry and a more architectural form, giving the speaker a stronger visual presence within modern living spaces.
A redesigned Tuk
The updated Tuk carries forward this new design direction.
Moving away from the softly rounded edges of the original, the new cabinet adopts a more defined, square-corner profile. This change enhances both aesthetics and acoustics - reducing edge diffraction while contributing to a cleaner, more focused soundstage.
Cabinet volume has been increased, providing a more stable acoustic foundation for the drivers. Combined with a revised tweeter design and refined waveguide geometry, the new Tuk delivers smoother high-frequency response, improved detail, and more consistent performance across a wider listening area.
The updated cabinet proportions emphasize stability and balance while reinforcing the role of the speakers as both audio components and design objects within the home. Updates include Bluetooth 5.4 (AptX HD), USB-C and two RCA line-in options alongside a TOSLINK optical connection.
The next generation of Yu4 and Yu6
New integrated drivers create a wider soundstage than before plus DSP tuning and updated electronics create a solid upgrade to the original versions.
The new Yu4 and Yu6 continue Kanto’s core philosophy: high-quality sound delivered through accessible, thoughtfully designed products.
Design evolution comes through a complete redesign of the cabinet and front baffle. The updated form brings a more refined, modern aesthetic while improving acoustic performance through better driver integration and dispersion.
Powered versions maintain their all-in-one simplicity, with integrated amplification and connectivity including Bluetooth 5.3, phono, USB-C, RCA, and subwoofer output - making them well-suited for modern homes, desktop setups, and creative environments.
Updated passive versions carry forward the same cabinet architecture and acoustic improvements, offering flexibility for listeners who prefer to pair speakers with external amplification.
Design and acoustics, working together
Across the entire lineup, Kanto’s design and engineering teams worked to more closely align industrial design with acoustic performance.
Subtle shaping of the front baffle and tweeter waveguide helps control high-frequency dispersion, resulting in a wider, more consistent listening field. Stereo imaging remains stable even when listening off-axis, creating a more natural and room-filling sound.
The new Tuk Grand, Tuk, Yu4, and Yu6 models - along with their passive counterparts - will be previewed at AXPONA 2026.
