Majority Audio has unveiled a brand new connected audio line-up with the introduction of the new Link Series, designed to bring your old audio products into the streaming age or, with the Link Pro Amp, give you one of the most affordable hi-fi systems around.
Link Mini is an affordable way to add modern streaming capabilities to Bluetooth speakers, hi-fi systems or radios. Featuring AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, the compact streamer combines analogue and optical outputs with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE and Auracast compatibility, delivering a easy upgrade for legacy hi-fi gear and Bluetooth speakers big and small. The Link View adds first-to-market features with its 2.1-inch circular touchscreen display and rotary touch dial for a more visual experience. Album artwork, playback information and source selection are displayed directly on the screen, which means you can ditch the phone while listening to your favourite tracks. RRP £89.95.
Link Pro offers more than pure streaming. Featuring a 4-inch colour display, DAB/DAB+ radio and internet radio support, the Link Pro combines premium streaming features with traditional listening sources alongside HDMI ARC. RRP: £229.95.
The flagship Link Pro Amp is an all-in-one streaming amplifier developed for passive speakers. Delivering 300W of output through a Texas Instruments Class-D amplifier, the Link Pro Amp combines streaming, DAB radio and amplification in one compact box. Connectivity includes HDMI ARC, optical input, USB playback, Ethernet, analogue input, and a subwoofer output, allowing users to build a complete hi-fi system on a budget. RRP: £299.95.
