Majority is expanding its home audio range with four new products created for listeners who want modern music streaming but also want to use their CD collection. Leading the line-up is the Fitzwilliam trio, a family of full-width hi-fi components that combines Spotify Lossless through Spotify Connect, internet radio, podcasts, DAB/DAB+, FM, Bluetooth and USB playback with the traditional controls and connectivity of a hi-fi system.
Fitzwilliam CD, Fitzwilliam AMP and Fitzwilliam CD AMP let customers choose the right starting point for the equipment they already own, from adding connected sources to an established system to powering passive speakers.
Fitzwilliam CD is the source component for listeners who want to upgrade an existing hi-fi or active-speaker system. Its integrated slot-loading CD player supports CD, CD-R and CD-RW, while Spotify Lossless, Bluetooth 5.2, USB MP3 playback, internet radio and podcasts open the door to connected listening. DAB/DAB+ and FM radio are also built in.
Stereo RCA line, optical digital and coaxial digital outputs provide flexible options for an amplifier or active speakers, while a stereo RCA input adds another analogue source. A 3.2-inch colour display displays station, track and menu information, with control from the front panel, remote or OKTIV app.
The Fitzwilliam AMP uses a 200W Class-D Texas Instruments amplifier to power two passive speakers, adding streaming, radio and external source connections in one slim, full-width unit.
Spotify Lossless through Spotify Connect is joined by internet radio, podcasts, DAB/DAB+, FM, Bluetooth and MP3 playback from USB drives up to 128GB. Optical and coaxial digital inputs make it easy to connect a TV, CD player or other source, while stereo RCA input, stereo RCA pre-out and a 3.5mm headphone output add further flexibility. Preset EQ modes and My EQ controls allow bass, treble and loudness to be adjusted to suit the room and speakers.
Completing the trio, the Fitzwilliam CD AMP brings a 200W Class-D amplifier and tray-loading CD player into one box for passive speakers, physical music, streaming and radio.
CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback sits alongside Spotify Lossless, Bluetooth, USB MP3, internet radio, podcasts, DAB/DAB+ and FM. RCA, optical and coaxial inputs accept additional sources, while passive-speaker outputs, stereo RCA pre-out and wired headphone listening are all available. A 3.2-inch colour display, physical controls, remote and OKTIV app make operation easy.
For listeners who want everything in a single box (including speakers), the Quadriga Maxi is a 200W 2.1-channel system which combines two 3-inch full-range drivers with a built-in 5.25-inch bass woofer for fuller, room-filling listening without separate equipment.
Quadriga Maxi adds a slot-loading CD player with CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 CD support, Spotify Connect, internet radio, podcasts, DAB/DAB+, FM, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB MP3 playback. Optical, stereo RCA and 3.5mm AUX inputs are included while its 4.3-inch colour display, remote control and OKTIV app ensure the extensive feature set is easy to navigate.
