Optoma Unveils Photon Go: an affordable, Ultra Short Throw projector
RGB triple laser tech, Google TV and a built-in battery make the Photon Go an ideal projector for all rooms...

Optoma, a global leader in projection and display technology, proudly announces the launch of the Optoma Photon Go, the first in its groundbreaking Photon series. Set to revolutionise portable entertainment, the Photon Go will be available starting April 2025.
The Optoma Photon Go will debut at The Bristol Show, UK on Friday, Feburary 21st. Optoma can be found on the 4th floor in rooms 404 and 410. A media showcase will start at 12:00 on Friday, February 21st in room 404.
The Optoma Photon Go is engineered for on-the-go entertainment, featuring RGB triple laser technology that delivers vibrant colours and exceptional contrast. Designed for versatility, this ultra-short throw (UST) projector can transform any wall into a screen, offering a seamless viewing experience whether you're at home or on the move.
Unlike traditional lamp-based or single-laser projectors, the Photon Go’s RGB triple laser system produces pure red, green, and blue light sources, eliminating the need for colour wheels or filters. This results in a wider colour gamut, higher colour accuracy, and deeper contrast levels, ensuring lifelike visuals. Additionally, RGB laser projectors maintain consistent brightness over time, unlike lamp-based systems that degrade more quickly.

With brightness often measured in lumens, RGB laser projectors appear significantly brighter than traditional single laser and lamp projectors with the same brightness level, which makes the images stand out vibrantly even in ambient lighting conditions. As a result, the Photon Go delivers stunningly bright and vivid visuals, ensuring a remarkable viewing experience in both dark and well-lit environments. Wi-Fi 5,6 and 7 ensures easy connection in your home too.
Thanks to its ultra-portable design, built-in battery and integrated Google TV, the Photon Go is perfectly engineered for on-the-go entertainment; for big screen entertainment anytime, anywhere. Host an unforgettable movie night, stream the big game with friends in the garden, or create an immersive gaming setup anywhere. It’s also ideal for children’s rooms, transforming their walls into interactive storytelling spaces.
