Revival Audio Announce SPRINT: Bookshelf and Floorstanding Loudspeakers with innovative ELYTRON Acoustic Baffle

Revival Audio — the French loudspeaker company born from almost four decades of expertise and know-how behind many top-tier speaker brands based in France, Denmark and the USA — today announces the latest addition to its line-up: SPRINT. ​

Building upon the success of their ATALANTE speakers, Revival Audio's SPRINT range comprises the SPRINT 3 2-way bookshelf speaker, and SPRINT 4 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker.

Both the SPRINT 3 and SPRINT 4 deliver a precise and balanced sound, thanks to featuring an innovative ELYTRON baffle design. Developed from hundreds of hours of listening and testing by Revival Audio's in-house acoustic engineers — and based upon the internal organic structural layout of a beetle carapace — this lightweight, high-strength material has been designed with a unique asymmetric shape that allows SPRINT to deliver very accurate dispersion of high-frequencies by effectively guiding the sound wave as it leaves the speaker. It also optimises the mid and low frequencies by reducing the diffraction impact from the speaker cabinet, whilst minimising the impact from different listening environments.

SPRINT 3 is a 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker featuring a 28mm RASC soft-dome tweeter with built-in ARID (Anti Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology along with a specialized back-chamber design able to absorb 95+% resonances. Its BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) 7” woofer is both rigid and light-weight, offering a great damping construction which provides fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics. 

The Revival Audio SPRINT 3 is complimented by the Revival Audio Stand 3 (sold separately).

SPRINT 4 is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring a 28mm RASC soft-dome tweeter with built-in ARID (Anti Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology along with a specialized back-chamber design able to absorb 95+% resonances. ​ The two BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) 7” woofers provide a perfectly balanced rigid yet light-weight design, offering a great damping construction which provides fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics. The 2.5-way crossover design on SPRINT 4 maximises the performance of these two 7” BSC woofers, resulting in a more accurate phase and extended low frequency. The SPRINT 4's foot-spikes provide further stability, absorbing vibration and enhancing sound imaging.

Both SPRINT models are designed, engineered and tuned in France.

The Revival Audio SPRINT 3 will cost £895 / €990 / $1,195. ​ The SPRINT 4 will cost £1,650 / €1,790 / $1,990. Pricing is per pair.

The Revival Audio Stand 3 will cost £339 / €399 / $399.

The Revival Audio SPRINT 3 and 4 will be available from March 2023
