​At the core of the Shanling HW600 is a high-performance dynamic driver, adapting an oversized 86 x 110 mm diaphragm, made with ultra-thin 8μm polymer materials. This allows the HW600 to reach extended ranges in the lowest and highest frequencies, assuring excellent full-range performance with extra rich dynamics.

This advanced material ensures optimal rigidity and sensitivity, significantly reducing distortion and delivering ultra-clear sound across an expansive frequency range. The HW600 provides an impressive soundstage, enabling listeners to experience even the most intricate nuances of their music. ​

​Designed to meet the expectations of the most discerning audiophiles, the Shanling HW600 features an open-back design, allowing for a natural and expansive sound. This design ensures external sounds don’t interfere with the audio, resulting in a pure and uncoloured listening experience. By optimising airflow through the headphones' dual acoustic chambers, Shanling ensures the HW600 delivers a spacious yet intimate soundscape, making it ideal for an extensive range of musical genres. The design of the HW600 was based upon the traditional way of creating bamboo joints, with the HW600 integrating the look into the unique triangular geometry of the earcups. With the open-back design providing an expanded soundstage and promoting comfortable and fatigue-free listening.

The HW600 features 14 neodymium-iron-boron magnets, in dual-sided magnet assembly, reaching a magnetic flux density of 1.8T, making the driver of HW600 relatively easy to drive (Impedance: 30Ω) and well suited for a wide range of amplifiers.

​Recognising that great sound is nothing without comfort, Shanling has paid meticulous attention to the ergonomics of the HW600. The headband and earcups are constructed from premium materials, including high-density memory foam, ensuring a soft yet secure fit for prolonged listening sessions. The earcups feature a three-axis swivel mechanism, allowing users to achieve the perfect fit, minimising pressure and fatigue over long periods.
