Modern synth meets retro style in the coolest music tech crossover of the year.

We Are Rewind have many fans in the music industry and the latest edition of the portable WE-001 cassette player is based on the mutual admiration for all things synth-based between We Are Rewind and The Midnight.

The Midnight (Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle) formed in LA in 2012 after initial songwriting sessions and musical ideas partly inspired by the 2011 movie Drive. Fast forward to 2026 with No.1 albums and sell-out tours under their belt, The Midnight don't take anything for granted.

"It has grown way beyond what I could have ever imagined when I sat in a little studio in 2013, messing around with these little ‘80s tracks” Tim told Music Radar earlier this year.
