Jamo Concert series: a new chapter in Scandinavian hi-fi

Today Jamo announces the arrival of two new speaker families, Concert Legacy and Concert Element, marking a defining moment in the brand’s 2026 direction.

Both ranges will be available in August 2026.

JAMO CONCERT LEGACY

Concert Legacy is Jamo’s demonstration of the very best of Scandinavian hi-fi. Positioned as the brand’s most important premium passive speaker family, it represents not only a revival of past success, but a development of one of Jamo’s most respected ranges.

At its core, Concert Legacy is shaped by a simple idea: what would the original Concert series look like today if it had evolved continuously over the past thirty years? Rather than borrowing old designs, the new range carries forward the ideas that defined the original Concert 8 and Concert 11 loudspeakers introduced in 1996.

Made in Denmark, Concert Legacy draws on long-standing Scandinavian partnerships. Drivers are developed with Scan-Speak in Denmark and SEAS in Norway, while woofer materials incorporate Finnish wood fibre. This integration ensures that design, engineering and manufacturing are all part of the mission to remind audiophiles of Jamo's signature sound.

Technically, the range combines composed bass, open midrange and articulate treble through deliberate engineering choices. Jamo DualCore architecture physically isolates midrange and bass chambers to preserve clarity as low-frequency energy increases. Down-firing bass loading supports more flexible placement in rooms while maintaining a clean design.

The range is led by Legacy 11, the flagship model designed for listeners who want to hear everything from the original recording. Alongside it, Legacy 9 offers a fully realised compact floorstanding option, while Legacy 8 brings the same acoustic into a standmount format.

JAMO CONCERT ELEMENT

Concert Element can be seen as Jamo’s purest form of Danish functional design and is developed with Copenhagen-based studio HarritSørensen.

This is immediately seen in the series’ defining “circle over rectangle” design. Rather than concealing the driver within the cabinet, the circular driver module extends beyond it, becoming both the acoustic and visual centre of the design. The result is a speaker that is visually striking, modern and appeals to a wider mix of music fans.

Shallow cabinet proportions and minimalist finishes allow the speakers to integrate into everyday interiors. Element 50 is a true bookshelf speaker (as opposed to standmount) that genuinely fits standard shelving while still delivering serious hi-fi performance.

Developed in partnership with SB Acoustics, the speakers use bespoke drivers tuned to each cabinet volume and follow a single-driver-per-range architecture. This simplifies the signal path and reduces distortion, supporting clarity.

Down-firing ports improve placement flexibility, while time-aligned tweeter positioning ensures accuracy. In floorstanding models, dual-chamber construction separates bass and midrange, with the 'internal logic' shown externally through the series’ signature Horizon Line.

The fabric covers are part of the product language, allowing the speaker to shift between a softer, more domestic look and a more exposed, technical design. Optional fabrics sourced from Gabriel in Denmark introduce additional Scandinavian colour and style.

The Concert Element family includes Element 50, Element 70 and Element 90, supported by the SW10 subwoofer.
